The external encoder is used on production lines that exhibit changes in production line speeds or where the production line comes to stop, ramps up and stops again.
Highly recommended when printing barcodes.
The universal junction box functions the same as our standard junction box but can connect up to three external inputs and also has an output signal to shut-down the production line if a low condition occurs.
The junction box is used when it is necessary to connect two external inputs (such as an encoder and external product detector) to a print head module.
Note: Compatible with EV1 and EV2.
The EV USB to SERIAL adapter is used when there is not a serial port available in your workstation. It allows you to communicate between USB and the serial RS- 485 port of the EVOLUTION PRINTER.
